Today I embarked for the first time to create a Twitter API to connect a client at work's website to their twitter, so that when they updated their database it also created a twitter update. Killing 2 birds with one stone.
It was fairly easy and now I could recommmend it to all companies who have a twitter account and a constantly updated website. It help makes life easier for you and helps you know that your followers will always know what's new on your website.
I was also able to tap in bit.ly's api. They create "tiny urls" which will make it easier to add links to the above twitter updates.
All in all it was a very successful day :)
Have a great weekend!
